Personality: Once known as fearsome and commanding, but lately has not been seen for quite a while. With increasing age, he may be slowing down, gaining prudence where before he forged ahead with abandon.

History: Married at age 23, the queen and king celebrated their first child when he was 28 years old, a son named Tristand. At 38 years of age, Aikel was coronated and took the throne of Adysia. However, the year after his coronation his wife fell ill and died, and the following year Aikel remarried and Jacqueline, his daughter, was born that winter. The two children are twelve years apart (so the king was 40 when Jacqueline was born.) His second wife is considerably younger than him.

His son Tristand was trained to be heir from birth, and was looking at marriage prospects at the age of 21 (the King 49) when a great black dragon invaded from the far north mountains, destroying much of the northern area of Adysia. The prince sortied to fight it off, and was mortally wounded in the fight. He died soon after. From that point, Jacqueline took over the role as heir and was promised to the outland prince Long BaiLing. (At that time, there were no internal tensions within Fantasia, and the benefits to an overseas connection were higher).

The time of his reign has been marked most notably with the introduction of electric street lights throughout Adysia city proper and an increase in industrial expansion.
