AoH Class :: Combat S5

*Ahem* Yes, welcome.  This will be part three of three (with Fenrixion and backtobeingTeo doing parts one and two, respectively).  Here is part one, and here is part two!  After their large fight in the previous installment, they're stopping at a nice flat platform to rest and plan how to face Tomato, the wyvern.  Yeah, Cendy mentions a dragon, but to be clear, Tomato is a wyvern.  Gosh, Laymann's cute.

The "mushroom king" they mention is an extra boss we added in with Lilbang's approval.  I'm sorry we're such problematic students. o)--<  To be specific, this was a healing spell (called "Nimue's Tears," not that Venna remembered the name) the Mushroom King cast to revive its horde of Mushroom Knights.  The Mushroom King's healing was much stronger than Venna's (full recovery, Venna's is more like a 20% heal), and it changes a person's innate eden element into water temporarily.  This grants a resistance to fire~ but also makes one more susceptible to lightning (and ice?).  Venna managed to memorize the runes the Mushroom King used and re-assemble them.  It's an incomplete version.  _{I'm really sorry I hope it's okay. She's just really useless without it (with only a lightning spell) and if it's no good then I'll make her forget it or something cries but we do need it for the story to make sense now aslkdjf asdf ;;;;;;;;;}

Also, she got the invisibility potion from her Botany class!

Flying's for chumps, it means you can only breathe fire on your targets until you've flown away!  Tomato's no chump!  So instead, he clings to the side of the tower so he can roast his quarry nice and good.  Lucky for Cendy and Laymann, Venna can still reach them with her healing spell.

This shall be known as the page I got lazy with stairs over.   Idk, is it clear?  Venna throws an icicle at Tomato to distract him, which works - and then the fire he's created in his throat starts to build, and he basically blasts it all out without aiming.  The others had gotten out of his range but...well.  Tomato wasn't done yet.  He scooted over so they were in his sights again.  Did it make sense?  I hope so! o)--<

Laymann's using his fireballs to deflect the blast coming at him, kind of like using an explosion to block another explosion.  Opposing forces cancel out?  This method is not recommended; we are not liable for any damages over attempting this yourself.  Don't try this at home, kids!
