History: Born the second daughter of the Ytraltidres Ducal family, she has lived her life among nobles and nobles alone. She believes in the principles of a nobility that serves the people and the people then serve the nobility in an equal exchange - the nobles protect and govern, the people live their lives and support them. Because of this, she has never really interacted with commoners much, spending her time in councils and learning how to rule and all the things that involves.

Her elder sister was a candidate for the betrothal, but they decided since Eirenne was closer in age, they would join those two and let Eirenne's elder sister find her own marriage with more freedom.

The public sees her as the beautiful and graceful Princess of the realm, but she seldom mixes with commoners, usually only appearing for official events, during which she tends to act demure and reserved.

In private life, she tends to keep herself distant from other nobles in an attempt to keep herself from being swayed politically by any single party. Unlike Aellai, who will spend personal time with anyone who would be useful to talk to, she tends to spend her free time with her handservants, working on art so she can clear her mind and think of current issues without interruption, or with her family. She considers Aellai to be her best friend and the person her life is meant for. She goes out of her way to be with him if he is in the castle; they will often eat meals together and discuss issues.

Eirenne considers herself to be not as good as Aellai in almost everything, considering his education and his constant attention to both detail and the broader scheme of things. He often surprises her with plans, because they encompass not only the present, but also reach into the far future. Because of this, she will often defer her own judgement in favor of his, though he always listens to what she has to say and takes it into account.

She is more aware politically of what the various noble families want than Aellai is (mostly because Aellai is more idealistic than she is). For him, she is willing to do pretty much anything, and as such, she gained the skills necessary to manipulate the people around her. She tends to do this very subtly, however, often by personally talking to a person one-on-one rather than in the middle of a meeting, and many nobles have not noticed this.
