Physical Properties

Heuma are, physically, the same as a normal human.

-Skin is typically pale.
-However, they can also have darker skin tones (even if it is rare).
-Hair can be any color (including irregular colors such as pink, green, or blue).
-Eyes can be any color.

Clothing

Very heavy and multi-layered.

-Cotton textiles and hides or furs.
-Furs are very widely-used. This was a point of contention long ago with the Dagou; however, their practicality overrode any wish to conform with the Dagou respect for the animals they were once from.

Jewelry tends to be minimal and made of exquisite metal or carved stone.

-They don't often wear jewelry because, when it is cold and if one were to find oneself outside, it is possible - even likely - that the metal will freeze to your skin and induce frostbite.
-Because of this, metal jewelry is considered a precious item only brought out for special occasions.

Boots are heeled.

-Sometimes have cleats to assist in navigating ice.
-Otherwise, are build thus to aid in getting traction on slippery slopes; all have treads of some kind.
-In winter, snowshoes are also common (and skis).

Weapons

Sword and Shield: The most iconic weapon of Shaif, and the only type of afford P.DEF stats along with normal attack stats. It is a very traditional style of fighting - and very effective as well, having been refined through many years of active combat and careful application.

Double Blades: The high-damage type of weapon for Shaif. Lengths can be any combo of short and long SAVE long + long. Two longswords are too difficult to control.

Axes/Maces/Flails: The "miscellaneous" type of weapon, it typically involves a single weapon with a thick haft and small striking area (less than 1/3 total length). Maces have a very small head with a 360-degree equal striking surface; flails are a handle with chain and optional weights on the end. Axes may have one or two bladed sides to the head.
